Ingredients:
Plain flour: 1 1/4 cup
Sugar: 3/4 cup
Butter: 3/4 cup
Eggs: 3
Baking powder: 1 tsp
Milk: 2tbsp
Coco Powder: 2tbsp
Fudge sauce:
Cooking Chocolate: Half Bar or 100 g
Condence Milk: 1 tin
Cream: 1 cup
For the chocolate icing, heat the chocolate,condence milk and cream in a saucepan over a low heat until the chocolate melts. Remove the pan from the heat and whisk the mixture until smooth, glossy and thickened. Then spread over the cake.
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180%.With an electric better, beat butter and sugar until it becomes a paste. Add eggs one by one.Sieve plain flour and baking powder and coco powder thrice.Add this batter into the egg mixture. If the mixture is slightly thick (because of cold weather) then add 1 – 2 tsp of milk to make it smoother. Take a tin and grease it well with 1 tsp of butter and sprinkle the flour in it.Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake at 180 C fan oven (or 170 C regular, Gas mark 3) for 35-45 mins until a skewer comes out clean. Leave to cool and pour fudge sauce on it.Sprinkle the shredded chocolate on it.Cut into peices and serve.
